ITV This Morning: 'I've got TWO daughters' Phillip Schofield shuts down Holly Willoughby

Hollywood actress Jane Seymour delivered the next instalment in her This Morning segments about beauty treatments in a pre-recorded video today, where she revealed her anti-ageing and hair secrets on the ITV programme.

Yet as the camera switched back to fan-favourite presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, the co-hosts couldn’t agree on their feelings about one part of Jane’s advice.

Holly, 37, was stunned by the actor’s hair tips, leading Phillip, 58, to clarify his own situation.

Unable to hide her shock at the condition of Jane’s hair and how often she washes it, Holly exclaimed: “She washes her hair every day!”

“I wash my hair every day,” Phillip noted with a giggle, but Holly wasn’t having any of it.

Shaking her head, Holly replied: “Yeah but you’ve got short hair.”

“She’s got long luscious locks,” the television personality added with a demonstration on the length of her own blonde tresses.

However, in a surprising shift in tone, Phillip became quite passionate over his own experience in the area.

“I’ve got two daughters with long locks,” he said bluntly, wagging his finger at his co-star. “I know the hassle of washing hair.”

Holly barely shrugged as the pair swiftly moved on to the next regular programming on the show.

Earlier on the show, Celebrity Big Brother 2018 runner up Kirstie Alley appeared to discuss her feelings following the final this week.

When asked about the Ryan Thomas and Roxanne Pallett row, the Look Who’s Talking starlet revealed she’d given her housemate and former Coronation Street actor Ryan some secret advice in the Borehamwood bungalow.

Admitting she’d realised Roxanne’s claims were a “career breaker” for her friend, Kirstie said: “My only advice to Ryan was, ‘Get to the producers too’, at that time.

“[I was like] ‘You run, you gotta go in there and handle this now’.”

The star went on to share she’d been very removed from the situation, and was shocked to see how it escalated so quickly.

“I don’t know how that turned into what it turned into,” she confessed, “but sometimes things mount and mount and mount.”

Insisting Big Brothers hadn’t shown the housemates any footage of what happened, she couldn’t hide her shock at seeing the clip for the first time.

“Wow, is that it?” she asked, before going on to say despite the experience not being what she thought, she had a brilliant experience.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
