Today’s Good Morning Britain was hosted by Piers Morgan, 53, and Susanna Reid, 47.
However, many were left unimpressed by the breakfast favourites when they went on an off-scripted rant about Brexit.
It came after an interview with David Lidington MP, who discussed the statement made by President Trump about the UK’s Brexit deal.
And, after the interview concluded, Piers and Susanna began explaining why viewers should not be bored of Brexit, which they nicknamed ‘BOB’ for a good few minutes.
Piers began: “I’m not sure we really clarified that, with David Lidington. Because this Trump this is really interesting, isn’t it?
“Because what David Lidington wasn’t able to say is the as part of this customs union they want…“
Susanna interrupted: “We’d have a separate independent trade deal on goods with other countries.”
“We can’t do deals on goods until we’re out of it. Why would the EU ever let us out of it, if they thought we were going to go off and do separate trade deals? That’s the fundamental problem with the plan,” Piers added.
“And we practically have to ask their permission, because we put in a bid to get out of it, but they have to say yay or nay,” Susanna explained.
“But why would they say yes? By saying yes they cut their own nose off to spit their face, why would they do that?
“The trouble is, a lot of people watching this will be saying ‘we’re bored of Brexit’.” Piers divulged.
“And the government wants you to think that!” Viewers saw Susanna sternly address the camera and lean forward and point.
“This is the crucial moment where you can’t afford to be bored by Brexit,” Piers continued.
“Don’t be a ‘BOB’,” Susanna waggled her finger.
“The decisions being taken now, if you’re a ‘BOB’,” Piers said and Susanna added: “Bored of Brexit.”
“We are done, as a country – aren’t we?” And Susanna agreed.
Those watching at home took to Twitter to discuss the matter.
One said: “Not sure I can watch this… #gmb @GMB.”
“@GMB #GMB ONE MENTION OF THE WORD BREXIT AND THE TV GETS TURNED OVER,” another added.
A third commented: “Can’t stand this. *Turns telly over* #GMB.”
“Yet another interesting debate about Brexit that I switched of. Bored listening to Morgan ranting. #GMB,” a tweet read.
