I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2018 viewers tuned in to see Noel Edmonds finally arrive and take control over the other campmates.
However, moments after his arrival he told off the presenters Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly for a blunder.
After choosing Harry Redknapp as his advisor, The Emperor was then set the task of crowning his right hand man.
“The emperor will lay a laurel wreath on your head, it’s over to your right, Emperor,” Dec commented.
But Noel snapped back: “Can I be really dull and boring – it’s a garland.”
And Holly turned to Dec and said: “You’ve been told, get it right!”
Those watching the show at home took to Twitter to discuss the late celebrity arrival and were immediately divided.
One said: “I can’t believe they’ve got Noel Emonds in #ImACeleb literally this years line up is brill!!”
“Love Noel! He was the king of entertainment before Ant and Dec! Stop hating!! #ImACeleb,” another argued.
A third added: “Noel Edmonds is actually cracking me up #ImACeleb.”
“I will admit, I was a fan of #NoelEdmonds Back in the day, I’m just worried that now he’s on #ImACeleb it might turn into the Noel Edmonds show and not the fun that we are used to. Hope I’m wrong,” a viewer tweeted.
However, some were not keen on the Deal Or No Deal presenting taking part in the series.
“30 seconds in and I already hate noel edmonds #ImACeleb,” a fan said.
“Noel is already irritating as hell,” one commented.
On his appointment of Emperor Noel said it was “Fantastic. Absolutely wonderful.”
Viewers then saw him choose four campmates to take part in the next challenge.
Unfortunately for Nick Knowles, James McVey, Fleur East and Sair Khan, they were chosen to take part.
Scenes saw then trying to unscrew stars with their tongues, surrounded by green ants.
The second part of the challenge the boys were strapped down and had to undo a series of ropes to gather more stars.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs at 9pm every night on ITV.
