Google Maps Street View has captured a very strange looking man in a creepy shot. He looks like a normal human being from the neck down but something seems to have gone very wrong with his face. He is balding and has white hair on the back and sides of his head. But that’s not the only place his follicles have been thriving. The man appears to have a coating of white hair over his whole face, stopping only above his eyebrows.
What’s more, he looks slightly animal-like as he appears not to have a nose on his face.
Instead, he seems to have a muzzle covered in tufty white hair which protrudes from just below his eyes.
In fact, the eyes themselves are hard to discern as is his mouth, although the one visible ear seems normal.
Has something awful to this scary-looking man or is there a more rational explanation to the bizarre image?
If you look more closely at the photo, it can seen that the man’s hirsute horror isn’t the only oddity in the picture.
To his right, a woman’s red heeled shoes can be seen, complete with her ankles, yet the rest of the woman’s body is completely invisible.
Clearly something has gone wrong with the Google cameras, to cause a serious technological glitch.
The photography splicing has caused the problem due to the way the images form.
When taking the photo, the 360-degree cameras shoot multiple pictures to create the seamless image.
However, moving objects often ruin the scene as they shift when the photos are taken.
It is most likely the man moved when the images were taken, resulting in the strange photo.
This is far from the first time Google has made people look incredibly strange indeed.
Google Maps Street View has also captured what, at first glance, looks to be a couple enjoying a day out on a boat. However, on closer inspection, there is something very wrong indeed with the woman in the photo.
She is sat with her arms rested on her legs looking at the camera – yet she appears to have a third arm growing out off her back.
To add to the comedy value of the shot the hand is angled so it looks as though it is trying to high five the camera.
However, the woman and the man seem to be posing perfectly normally, suggesting they haven’t spotted the errant limb – clearly the woman has all the correct number of limbs in the right places but she has fallen foul of a Google camera fail.
