Google Maps Street View has caught a terrified horse leaving its rider’s life in turmoil. The animal became spooked when the camera appeared to take its live action images, making what appeared to be a peaceful countryside canter into something more sinister. The tan-coloured horse and its rider, who looks to be a female, started off with a trek down a well-used road. They trotted down the side closest to a lush green field, with the cloud-free sky making for an idyllic day out.
The images show things took a nasty turn when the device appeared in the sky, causing the animal to swerve completely.
He abandons clip-clopping on the road and sprints straight across the hedge border in a fit of panic.
Shock pictures show the rider, presumably petrified, becoming partially dislodged from the saddle as they enter the grassy area.
They are then unseated completely as the horse throws them off altogether.
It is currently unknown whether their injuries are life-threatening, as the last shot shows the equestrian lying motionless on the floor.
They are collapsed on their right side, with their arms and legs spread out.
Meanwhile it is a happier escape for the horse, who makes its way across the lush field at a fast pace.
It remains to be seen whether horse and rider were reunited eventually, after the dramatic end to the afternoon.
Google Maps Street view has also tracked down what some believe to be the first ever UFO “flying saucer”.
Far from being camera-shy, the apparent extra-terrestrial device zoomed into camera view in Bermuda.
An eagle-eyed Reddit user then claimed to have found the first genuine flying saucer over the paradise island.
The social media user, who has since mysteriously deleted his account, found the bizarre hovering object over the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo.
The UFO hunter shared his finding online, posting: “Google Earth shows solid and clarified proof and evidence of a UFO metal saucer.”
The supposed UFO in question was snapped over Hamilton Parish, Bermuda, near the aquarium’s Caribbean Exhibit.
From a distance, it appears to be flying over Bermuda’s Harrington Sound body of water.
The dark, fast-moving object is shaped very much like a classic flying-saucer-shaped UFO.
