In emotional scenes, Ser Jorah lay dying on the ground while Daenerys willed him to survive and be by her side like he has done since season one of the HBO series.

Just before he died, he and Daenerys shared a few words and fans have been desperate to know what Daenerys said to him.

Now, actor Iain has continued to tease fans.

He told Entertainment Weekly he and the viewers were never to know what she said to him and the script did not give a line to be said.

Apparently, the stage direction read: “Daenerys whispers something to him that he’ll never hear and we’ll never know…”

Therefore Daenerys star Emilia had to come up with her own lines to add extra emotion.

Iain heard what she said and has revealed it will still between himself and Emilia.

He said: “It’s something entirely sincere and true to the moment and something that I’ll never forget.”

He then responded to being questioned whether he is ready for people to ask him by saying: “Yeah, but you know what? I’ll always cherish it because it’s something no one will ever know but the two of us. And that’s a memory to hold onto.”

The pair had a relationship based on mutual love and affection, but Ser Jorah was romantically attracted to Daenerys and wanted more.

In the latest episode, Daenerys admits to Jon that she could not give Ser Jorah the kind of love he desired from her.

Given that fans will never know what she actually said to him, they have had some fun making up suggestions of what she might have said to him.

One Twitter fan said: “Ser Jorah: Literally dies for Daenerys.
Daenerys: Thanks for being a good friend.”

Another added Daenerys could have said this: “Looks like you are finally out of the friend zone.”

A third fan guessed she might have said: “Starbucks have an offer on?”

The latter suggestion is in reference to the Starbucks coffee cup mistakenly left in episode four scenes as Jon Snow (Kit Harington) is celebrated for his role in the Battle of Winterfell.

Fans now think Sansa Stark star Sophie Turner is responsible for the huge mistake as a photo has surfaced of her holding an identical cup on set while posing for a photo with Lyanna Mormont star Bella Ramsey.

Meanwhile, Daenerys could be set to risk it all and take down lover Jon after he revealed he is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne.

Fans noticed her glare when Jon was being lauded by his fellow soldiers and they think it indicates she is to become the Mad Queen she always potentially could be.

Game of Thrones continues Sunday on HBO in the USA and the following day on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK.
