Fallout 76 server maintenance schedule revealed as Bethesda take servers down TODAY

Fallout 76 servers are going down today for scheduled maintenance.

Bethesda announced the news earlier today, making a slight change to plans shared by the development team.

A new update was expected next week; however, Fallout 76 will now see downtime land later today.

This will end in a new update for the PC platform, while players on PS4 and Xbox One will have to wait until next week.

“We are planning to take Fallout 76 offline tomorrow, January 10 at 9am ET while we perform maintenance. During this time you will not be able to access the game,” a message from the Bethesda support team confirms.

For fans in the UK, that means Fallout 76 servers going down at around 2pm, GMT.

It’s unclear if downtime is being scheduled for all platforms, or if the server outage will only affect PC players.

Bethesda has confirmed that there will be detailed patch notes shared by the team later today.

Here’s the latest update from the Fallout 76 support team who confirm that a lot of new bugfixes are being deployed today:

“Containing more than 150 fixes, the patch will now land on PC beginning tomorrow and consoles early next week.

“Similar to what we did with the December 11 patch, placing it on PC first will give us time to make further adjustments as needed before releasing the patch on consoles.

“We will communicate if there are any further diversions from the schedule…

“We’ll have the patch notes available to go along with the patch, but some of the things we’re planning to address include issues with several Challenges and quests, various fixes to a number of Perks and weapons, and tackling various exploits we’ve seen.”

PS4 and Xbox One players will get the same patch on Monday, January 14, which should contain the same fixes.

A second Fallout 76 update is also being worked on by Bethesda but won’t drop until closer to the end of the month.

This too will focus on fixing bug issues on all platforms, including the number of plans Vendors have available, fixing a few Legendary mods, and continuing to address issues with some Perks.
