Emmerdale's Natalie Anderson shares her beauty and style tips

Which beauty products do you swear by?

Max Factor 2000 Calorie mascara. I’ve tried loads of different mascaras, but this one has never let me down. It’s not that expensive, either.

What are your essential cosmetics?

I always apply under-eye concealer, lip pencil, mascara and blusher. I’m such a blusher girl. My favourite brands are Clarins, Chanel and Max Factor.

Do you wear make-up every day?

No I don’t, actually. When I’m at home I barely wear any. I have to wear so much make-up when I’m working, so it’s a relief when I can take it off. It’s nice to let my skin breathe.

What’s your top beauty tip?

My mum’s always told me to look after my skin. I moisturise at least twice a day. If you eat well and drink lots of water, your skin will thank you.

How do you look after your hair?

I try to get it cut every month or so. My hairdresser tells me off because I use straighteners quite a lot. I do spray on heat protector. But, again, it’s all about eating well. It makes your hair thick and healthy.

What’s your signature fragrance?

Anything by Chanel. Coco Chanel is probably my favourite.

How do you pamper yourself?

My husband will run me a bath and I’ll surround myself with scented candles and pour in my favourite Neom bath oil.

How do you stay in shape?

I love the gym and I’ve done a lot of running recently.

Last year I did Tough Mudder and a 26-mile canoe for Stand Up To Cancer.

Which women do you think are beautiful?

Meryl Streep, Kate Winslet and Helen Mirren.

How would you describe your style?

I like classic combinations like jeans and a shirt with boots.

Do you have a favourite shop?

Zara, without a shadow of a doubt.
