Emmerdale spoilers: Lachlan White VS Rebecca White – who will leave after THIS bombshell?

Last night’s instalment of the ITV soap saw Rebecca White (played by Emily Head) wake from her coma following the car crash caused by Lachlan (Thomas Atkinson) which killed both Chrissie (Louise Marwood) and Lawrence White (John Bowe).

While Lachlan has been rallying the support from his neighbours and girlfriend Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper), Rebecca’s life has been hanging in the balance.

Though, the latest Emmerdale cliffhanger saw Rebecca’s eyes flutter and Lachlan should be very afraid.

Rebecca will wake without any memory of the horrific incident, but not for long.

The traumatised patient is soon threatening Lachlan with the truth, surely sealing the killer’s overdue exit.

Determined to restore her memories from the crash, Rebecca and Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) head to Home Farm, now home to Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) on the hunt for answers.

With Rebecca desperately close to uncovering Lachlan’s killer secret, it seems likely there’s only enough room for one member of the White family in Emmerdale.

What’s more, Lachlan has now learned that he stands to inherit a cool £400,000 and an allowance until his 21st birthday.

It was later revealed that is Rebecca were to perish alongside her father and sister, all of Seb’s money would go to Robert.

Actress Emily has opened up on the scenes which will follow this week as Rebecca comes to terms with her family tragedy.

“Her world just falls away when she hears the news,” she told Radio Times.

“She struggles to understand how and why it happened, and the idea of living without two people she was so close to is the worst thing she’s ever experienced.

“Initially she doesn’t believe what she’s hearing, but when she sees Lachlan’s face she just clings onto him sobbing.

“Other than her baby boy Seb, Lachlan is the only member of the family she has left. To her, they are both in this together.”

Emmerdale continues Monday at 7pm on ITV.
