Liv (played by Isobel Steele) took it upon herself to call Rebecca White (Emily Head) all the names under the sun after Aaron Dingle (Aaron Livesy) told her the real reason he was no longer with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley).
As Robert and Liv later had a heart-to-heart, he admitted that he was still head-over-heels for Aaron and that his entire situation was a mess.
Liv screamed at Rebecca, before she drove away: “We were a family…me, Aaron and Robert, so why couldn’t you just leave us alone?”
Once she’d gone, Robert told Liv: “We were the happiest we’d ever been. I hate myself, I hate her and [I hate] that baby.”
He later admitted that he still had feelings for Aaron, sighing: “Don’t ever tell me I don’t love him, I never stopped, I always will.”
His gushing words sent Twitter into meltdown, with one person writing: “Loved that scene between Robert and Liv and it is making me miss Roblivion #emmerdale #roblivion.”
A second sobbed: “‘Aaron, he still loves ya,’ – Liv. And we know Aaron still loves Robert too!! #Emmerdale #robron #roblivion,” alongside two crying emojis.
“Robert reaffirms his love for Aaron to Liv, how he loves him ‘& never stopped’ but is the baby’s dad and can’t blame Aaron #emmerdale,” a third wrote, with a broken hearted emoji.
The latest scenes come after it was suggested bad boy of the Dales Robert’s scheming could stretch to murder if it were to mean he’d get what he really wants; Home Farm.
