Debbie (who is played by Charley Webb) has had her sights on getting her own back on Joseph (Ned Porteous) after he revealed his scheme to destroy the Dingles.
With vengeance on her mind, Debbie hashes a plan to take down the billionaire businessman and hires Simon McManus (Liam Ainsworth) to take revenge on Joe on her behalf.
In an upcoming episode, she plans to buy drugs from Holly Barton’s (Sophie Powles) old dealer Simon and have him plant them on Joe at a party, so he is arrested.
However, Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) discovers what the pair are planning and gives Joe a heads up to stop him from getting into trouble.
Furious that her plan has folded, Debbie offers to pay Simon to beat up Joe, hoping that he will flee the village following the assault.
A willing Simon agrees but accidentally attacks Ross Barton (Michael Parr) in a case of mistaken identity.
When Ross is fired by Joe after he finds out he been working with Debbie, Ross steals his car to get his own back.
But later in the day when Ross hops out of the vehicle, Simon mistakes him for Joe and chucks acid in his face, leaving Ross shouting out in pain.
Later, Simon goes to meet Debbie and reveals that he accidentally targeted Ross trying to carry out her plan.
Debbie is shocked to learn from a battered Simon that their plan failed as she has been so desperate to take down Joe.
When Debbie refuses to give him the money that she promised she would fork out Simon grabs her.
Will Debbie suffer the same fate as Ross? Or can she talk her way out of this one?
