EastEnders’ Vincent is expected to make his departure in a few week’s time and it seems he could find himself in a lot of trouble in upcoming episodes.
In the aftermath of his feud with Aidan Maguire (Patrick Bergin), Vincent will continue to keep his family afloat.
As the Hubbard’s face financial struggles, his wife Kim (Tameka Empson) is devastated when she finds a letter detailing just how bad things are.
The note reveals that the family face being evicted from their home.
When Kim confronts Vincent, he will insist the situation is in hand before trying to deal with it himself behind her back.
Kim is thrilled to hear her husband has resolved the situation and found enough money for them to stay afloat.
However, she won’t be pleased to learn how he managed to get his hands on the cash.
While Vincent manages to keep the bank happy for a short while, his struggles will continue.
Hoping to make some quick money, he plans to sell the family car.
Unfortunately, another driver races into the vehicle before driving off.
Fuming, Vincent will ask Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) to help him repair the damage.
But Phil refuses, insisting he doesn’t want to get tangled up in Vincent’s business.
Struggling to work out how he can solve his financial issues, Vincent will consider making a very dangerous move, which could rock Walford.
Fans of the long-running BBC soap will have to wait a little longer to find out what Vincent has planned and how it leads to his exit.
It comes after soap star Richard opened up about his decision to leave the show.
“There was no bad vibe between me and EastEnders [about] leaving,” he explained.
“It just so happened that I came to the end of my contract and they weren’t going to renew it.”
He added: “So when I came into EastEnders… I said if I get more than one year, I reckon I’m going to do three years… EastEnders is its [own] movie, I’m a character within it…
“My character within that movie had to leave.”
EastEnders airs tonight on BBC One at 7.30pm.
