EastEnders spoilers: Bobby Beale to RETURN? Kate Oates drops big hint

EastEnders and could be about to see the return of Bobby Beale (Eliot Carrington).

The youngster was imprisoned for killing his sister, Lucy Beale (Hetti Bywater), before going on to attack Jane Beale (Laurie Brett).

So far, Bobby has served three years for his crimes, but will he get an early release?

Boss, Kate Oates, has suggested there will be a plethora of familiar faces returning soon to Albert Square.

Way back in October of last year, she told the Daily Star she would definitely bring back three old characters.

She said at the time: “I’ve only been there a few weeks, but we’re already making our plans.

“We’re going to be bringing people back. So that’s exciting.”

Kate continued: “I haven’t made the calls yet, but there will definitely be two, possibly three old faces returning.

“You’ll probably see them in first quarter of the new year.”

Since then, Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) has been confirmed to return, alongside Mary the Punk (Linda Davidson) and Lofty (Tom Watt).

But could Bobby also return? There would certainly be appetite for it, according to Metro.

Ian Beale is currently involved with Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) romantically.

However, it has recently been suggested there is heartbreak on the horizon.

If so, perhaps the perfect pick-me-up would be Bobby’s safe return from prison.

Meanwhile on EastEnders, Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) fate could be sealed according to Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).

Keanu is currently dating Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) behind Phil’s back.

However, the youngster is also seeing Sharon’s daughter, Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper) and if he continues to break her heart, Phil could get involved.

When wondering if Keanu was seeing someone else, Louise threatened: “You wait until my dad finds out.”

Will Keanu survive the drama?

EastEnders continues Monday on BBC at 8pm.
