To celebrate Pancake Day, Whitney took the Queen Vic’s troublesome situation into her own hands by throwing a special celebration in the pub’s name, with a particularly painful pancake race on the Square.
Even Johnny (Ted Reilly) noticed: “She’s like a completely different person.”
And he wasn’t the only one, as hundreds of viewers flocked to Twitter to compare Whitney to the true landlady of Walford’s finest drinking haunt.
“Whitney is the new Linda Carter,” noted one audience member, as another agreed: “lol Whitney wants to be Linda so bad.”
This particularly enraged fan protested: “Whitney needs to back the f**k away from Mick. I swear you will never be Linda so stop trying man. I can’t stand her man.”
One more asked: “Is it me or is #whitney dressing more like Linda Carter by the day?” which was followed by: “Who does Whitney think she is? The new Linda?”
