The First Lady missed the fashion mark in an oversized wool coat with a striped pattern.

It’s woollen material and flower embellishment didn’t flatter the 47-year-olds frame.

She added some simple nude pumps and nails to the statement look.

She joined Mrs Akie Abe at the Mikimoto Ginza Main Store in Tokyo.

Melania was shown the Japanese cultured pearls at a flagship pearl shop.

The two women then discussed private matters away from the camera over tea and coffee.

She then tweeted: “Wonderful visit w/ Mrs. Abe today! Enjoyed conversation over tea & the cultural presentation on the history of pearls.”

The Trumps previously visitied Hawaii before starting the tour to Asia, with the First Lady stunning onlookers as she stepped out in a classic white midi dress.

Her simple wrap dress showed off her toned arms with capped sleeves, and a simple black belt to accentuate her waist.

She finished off the look with some snakeskin pointed stilettos whist joining her husband at the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbour.

Her husband Donald Trump laid a wreath to remember those who lost their lives at Pearl Harbour.

Donald Trump’s tour of Asia will include Japan, South Korea, China Vietnam and the Philippines.

The ten-day tour comes at a critical time regarding Kim Jong-un’s threats from North Korea.

The President will be pushing for Chinese President Xi Jinping to get tougher with Pyongyang.

Donald Trump will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Danang, Vietnam, make a state visit to Hanoi and end his trip with the Association of South East Asia Nations summit in Manila.
