Ahead of the live show, the celebrities will be taking part in a full dress rehearsal today, but for Jane Danson and parter Sylvain Longchambon it didn’t go according to plan.

ITV have revealed to the press, the Coronation Street actress suffered a fall to the ice during her rehearsal, stating she fainted whilst skating.

Pictures have show her lying face down on the ice with Sylvain being the first to get to her.

Following this, several members of the Dancing On Ice crew, along with medical professionals, can be see rushing onto the ice to help her.

Since the initial care, Jane has been assessed fully and no injuries have been disclosed.

It is now said she is resting ahead of tonight’s show, where she will be taking to the ice to perform her routine as planned.

Last week, Jane and Sylvian scored a solid 21.5 points from the judges and placed them third from the bottom.

Unfortunately, Jane wasn’t the only one to have suffered a fall during practice.

Earlier in the week, Melody Thornton also was left slightly injured after catching her boot and tripping over.

The Pussycat Dolls member was practicing alongside Alex Demetriou when she went to do a cross over.

However, her right foot got stuck and she ended up falling flat on her face in a brutal slump.

ITV explained how she sustained no lasting injuries and attended Chiropractor sessions to help easy any pain caused by the fall.

She is also expected to return to the ice tonight and perform.

It comes after last weeks live show when viewers tuned in to see Gemma Collins face plant the ice.

During her performance, the reality TV star was skating solo and put perhaps a little too much effort into the flower pose when she ended up losing her balance.

Her right foot’s toe pick caught on the ice and she fell with an almighty thump sliding across the ice towards the judges.

Nevertheless, she brushed herself off and got up to finish the routine.

And it didn’t affect her chances at staying in the competition as her fan base rallied around her and voted her through to week five.

Dancing On Ice airs tonight at 7pm on ITV.
