For any passengers heading to Greece, there is one particular item they should avoid wearing when disembarking the ship.
Wearing high heeled stilettos is banned in certain parts of Greece.
A number of destinations such as Athens prohibit the shoes at archeological and historical sites to prevent damaging the area.

Eleni Korka, Director of Greek Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities previously told the Mail Online: “Female visitors must wear shoes that do not wound the monuments.
“These monuments have a skin that suffers and people must realise that.”
The ban has been in place since 2009 after the damage was noticed and getting worse.
Passengers who attempt to wear heeled shoes to the monuments will not be allowed to enter unless they change their shoes.
Britons should, therefore, make sure they wear comfortable flat shoes to explore the area.
It also makes sense in the hot weather for flat sandals or trainers to be worn for comfort.
Anyone travelling to the Caribbean should also avoid wearing camouflage to avoid jail time.
Many islands ban camo clothing with large fines and strict arrests even for tourists and children.
It isn’t the only banned item for cruise passengers.
Bringing alcohol onto the ship is prohibited, with many cruises allowing just one bottle per person.
Surge protectors are also not allowed to be brought onboard or used in the cabins.
This is because they can cause electrical problems or fires when using the plug sockets.
