Coronation Street spoilers: Fans FURIOUS with Carla Connor – and you won’t believe why

Carla (played by Alison King) took Daniel (Robb Mallard) to Roy’s Rolls for a cup of coffee and a slice of cake, to discuss how he was feeling about Chesney Brown’s (Sam Aston) marriage to Sinead Tinker (Katie McGlynn).

While the former Underworld owner told him that if he still loves Sinead, he should stop the wedding.

He went on to add that he had already tried to halt the wedding once, but failed and didn’t want to embarrass himself further.

But Carla refused to give up and insisted that he should declare his true feelings once more.

Many of those tuning into  were left furious with Carla for trying to convince Daniel to stop the wedding and took to Twitter to vent their frustration.

“Why is Carla sticking her nose in? #Corrie,” one viewer asked.

While another added: “I love you Carla, but stop trying to talk Dangerous Dan into crashing the wedding. #Corrie.”

A third continued: “Why is Carla interfering for again! Can’t understand why everyone thinks she’s a good character! #Corrie.”

“Carla, after your four, you’re really telling man to crash a wedding? #Corrie,” someone else shared.

However, there were a few who were thrilled to see the businesswoman dabbling in everyone’s business.

“Carla still going around trying to fix everyone’s shit. What a woman! #Corrie,” one fan exclaimed.

As the first of tonight’s double bill came to a close, it looked as though Daniel may have taken Carla’s advice as he arrived at the registry office.

He could be seen hovering outside a door as the ceremony began inside, with many viewers believing he would interrupt the nuptials.

However it was Chesney who put a stop to the wedding as he broke down in tears and told Sinead that he believed they had rushed into things.

Will the pair tie the knot or is their wedding doomed?

Coronation Street continues tonight at 8.30pm at .
