The 35-year-old told viewers it will be a fairly cloudy start but temperatures will be on the rise.
There will be some rain in the north and west which is in stark contrast to the south east which will see drier conditions.
This morning in Scotland, north west England and Northern Ireland, there will be heavy showers and strong winds.
Further south, there are clearer skies but there is some patchy outbreaks of rain in the south west and Wales.
Temperatures will be in the high teens across the UK with 19 degrees celsius in the south east which is above average for this time of year.
This evening, there will be more wet weather across Northern Ireland and Wales.
Tomorrow morning, it will be feeling fresh with some rain around in the north of the UK, but later in the day the sunshine will break through.
Sunday will see similar weather conditions with the country seeing sunshine and temperatures are increasing to 20 to 23 degrees celsius.
