BAFTA aired its TV Awards for 2019 this evening and saw Graham Norton push the boundaries on the show with his opening monologue.
And while he hit upon many different aspects from the TV world and controversies throughout the year, one comment seemingly made Tess Daly a little uncomfortable.
Graham began talking about Line of Duty and the incredible interview scenes in the crime drama.
But he went on to connect the show to Strictly Come Dancing.
He cheekily announced: “The interviews! They were incredible.
“A more forensically detailed interrogation of times, dates, and mobile phone data hasn’t been seen since that time Seann Walsh got home late from Strictly practice.”
And this comment appeared to be enough to send Strictly host Tess Daly into turmoil.
She shook her head before shutting her eyes, as her partner in crime Claudia Winkleman stifled a laugh.
Graham himself laughed once again, before adding: “I know, I know!
“Yep, you snog one dancer!”
