Avengers Infinity War deaths: PROOF that [spoiler] and [spoiler] DO return from the dead?

WARNING: Major spoilers ahead for Avengers Infinity War.

Speculation has now kicked off over what will happen in Avengers 4 after multiple Marvel heroes appeared to be lost to Thanos.

But was one particular twist spoiled in the Infinity War trailer?

One of the big money shots from the marketing campaign was of a load of heroes running through grassland, possibly on Wakanda.

It included Okoye, Captain America, Black Widow, Bucky Barnes, War Machine, Hulk, Black Panther and more, including background fighters.

That shot didn’t appear in the finished film, so you could argue that it just ended up on the cutting room floor.

But there’s one problem with that explanation: Hulk.

Bruce Banner’s violent alter-ego was not seen at all in the movie, apart from at the very start when he tried, and failed, to beat Thanos to a pulp.

For the rest of the movie, Banner couldn’t tempt Hulk out; including during the spectacular Wakanda battle sequence.

And considering it may have been too expensive and lengthy a process to create the shot with Hulk just for the sake of the trailer, is it actually a shot from next year’s Avengers 4 instead?

And if it is, does the appearance of King T’Challa and Bucky Barnes in this particular moment confirm that they, at least, will be back next year?

It’s certainly a possibility – and even if this shot can be explained some other way, all signs certainly do point to many of the dead coming back in some capacity.

That’s not least because many of them are known to be signed up for more movies, including – in Peter Parker’s case – their own new solo vehicle.

One person who will perhaps not be returning is Red Skull, after the actor implied that he has not shot scenes for Avengers 4.

Zoe Saldana, meanwhile, appeared to give away that she will be back – despite Gamora being seen meeting a tragic fate.

Avengers: Infinity War is out now.
