When is the next episode of the Assassination of Gianni Versace released?

BBC Two will be airing episode one of The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story this evening (Wednesday, February 28) at 9pm.

Episode one is called The Man Who Would Be Vogue and opens up with the brutal murder of fashion designer Gianni Versace (played by Édgar Ramírez) by serial killer Andrew Cunanan (Darren Criss).

The show will then be airing in the UK on BBC Two at 9pm on Wednesdays.

A synopsis for episode one from the BBC reads: “July 15, 1997: Gianni Versace is shot by Andrew Cunanan on the steps of Versace’s Miami villa.


“As the killer flees, the media descends and the world reacts.

The summary goes on to say: “1990: An enthusiastic Andrew – who changes identities and opinions depending on who he’s talking to – contrives an introduction to Versace at an exclusive San Francisco nightclub, and wrangles a date to an opera which has been costumed by the famed designer.”

Season two of American Crime Story premiered in the US on January 17, 2018 and has been airing episodes on a weekly basis since then.


The Assassination of Gianni Versace is on episode six, which is called Descent, and will continue to explore Cunanan’s background and the killing spree.

Episode six of The Assassination of Gianni Versace will air tonight on US network FX in America.

The programme is set to be drawing to a close in the States on March 21 and then several weeks later in the UK.


How many episodes are in the Assassination of Gianni Versace?

The show consist of a total of nine episodes, which have all been penned by London Spy Tom Rob Smith.
