Arthur Curry has joined the ranks of Diana Prince as one of the few DC Comics heroes to be a critical and commercial success for Warner Bros. Aquaman had a lot riding on its shoulders, with the studio hoping to capitalise on some of the success garnered by Wonder Woman in 2017. So far, Aquaman holds a 70 per cent approval rating on reviews aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. Though compared to Wonder Woman’s 93 per cent it may seem small, Aquaman’s score far outweighs other DC adaptations like Justice League (40 per cent) and Down of Justice (27 per cent).
