28 missing after boat sinks off Indonesian coast

At least 28 people are missing after a boat capsized near Indonesia’s Kalimantan Island, the national rescue agency said. About 20 people have been rescued so far, the agency added. The boat carrying nearly 50 people was on its way from Tanjung Selor area to Tarakan city on the Indonesian side of Borneo Island, when it overturned and sank.
